PHP File Hasher allows an admin to 'hide' a file from the filesystem. It renames the file to an md5 hash and moves it behind a unix hidden http protected directory. Users can browse the files though the script and download them with the same links, written via mod rewrite, but without showing the file on the server logs. Give it a test from more information.
